Fair Oaks Foods in Davenport, IA seeks a Wastewater/Grease Recovery Technician to perform daily wastewater duties and assist with maintenance under supervision. The role requires careful monitoring and adjustment of chemical dosages, plus operating grease recovery equipment and recording results in accordance with regulations.
Key tasks include preventive maintenance, reading equipment manuals, and providing general facility support such as plumbing and carpentry.
While working under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the wastewater/grease recovery tech would be responsible for performing daily wastewater duties and assisting with maintenance when needed.
Work is performed in a manufacturing and office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position. Must be able to lift 50lb and must have knowledge of computers and be proficient in word and Excel.
