Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is hiring for a Facility Operator Trainee to support wastewater treatment facilities, lift stations, and the distribution system. Reporting to the Field Supervisor, you will perform a variety of tasks essential to reliable water and wastewater services.

Starting at $30.00 per hour, the role requires a valid U.S. driver’s license and a path to Class-B CDL with Tanker and Air Brake endorsements, plus progress toward a Water or Wastewater license within 18

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or the equivalent.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; CDL required within 90 days.
• Willing to pursue Water or Wastewater license within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment at wastewater production facilities and booster stations.
• Operate and maintain sewer collection systems including mains and pump stations.
• Perform routine water quality analysis and adjust treatments to meet standards.
• Close work orders and document activities; assist with other tasks as assigned.
