Job summary

The City of Englewood, CO is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead junior engineering staff within the SPR’s Engineering Division. You will oversee planning, design, and implementation of capital projects, manage infrastructure replacement, and coordinate with plant staff and operations.

You will review consultant plans, provide strategic recommendations on major projects, and mentor staff while advancing program management under the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, chemical, or environmental engineering.
• PE license or ability to obtain within six months of start date.
• Nine years of engineering experience with supervisory exposure.
• One year minimum experience supervising technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervises engineering staff and manages workloads.
• Planning, design, construction management, budgeting, and schedules for capital improvements.
• Review consultant plans and select vendors.
• Prepare proposals and bids; manage documents to proceed with projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and plant staff; ensure compliance with codes and standards.
