Job summary

The City of Scottsdale is seeking a Wastewater Electrician II to maintain the electrical backbone of our water and wastewater facilities. This hands-on role involves working with control systems, high‑voltage equipment, and critical infrastructure that protects public health and supports a thriving community.

You will perform industrial electrical, electronic, and computer work in installation, maintenance, and repair.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 5 years journeyman experience in industrial settings.
• 3 years utility electrician/instrumentation in municipal wastewater.
• 2-year electrician apprenticeship acceptable.
• Equivalent education/experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Performs industrial journey-level electrical, electronic and computer work in installation, maintenance and repair of the City's water and wastewater systems and equipment.
