City of Ammon is seeking a skilled wastewater technician to perform operations, maintenance and monitoring of the city's wastewater system. You will collect samples, update logs, operate heavy and light equipment, and assist with training while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (AA preferred) and experience with SCADA systems, equipment maintenance, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AA degree preferred.
• Experience with wastewater systems and maintenance.
• Knowledge of SCADA, safety regulations and field operations.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily wastewater operations, take samples, log updates and maintain records.
• Operate and maintain equipment, inspect facilities and assist training.
• Troubleshoot problems, perform repairs and coordinate with supervisor on changes.
• Ensure safety procedures and environmental compliance are followed.
