Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; two-year AA degree preferred.
• Two years’ public works wastewater maintenance experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operations and maintenance of wastewater systems.
• Operate and maintain lift stations and related equipment.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical systems and diagnose issues.
• Maintain logs, records and reports; update work orders.
• Ensure safety and compliance with city, state and federal regulations.
