Job summary

GBA Civil Engineer II: Wastewater Engineer supports design and improvement of wastewater infrastructure for growing communities, working with senior engineers to apply hydraulics, pipelines, and treatment concepts while progressing toward PE licensure.

This role involves field visits, calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and construction administration, with opportunities to grow responsibilities within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Passed the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam and actively working toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and development of wastewater collection and treatment infrastructure.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Conduct field investigations and site visits.
• Assist with technical reports, cost estimates, project documentation, and construction administration.
• Apply engineering principles related to hydraulics, pipeline networks, and wastewater treatment systems.
• Participate in project meetings, client discussions, and proposal efforts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Work under the guidance of senior engineers while taking on increasing responsibility.
