Job summary

West Liberty Foods, L.L.C. in Tremonton, UT is seeking a Waste Water Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and monitor the onsite wastewater treatment facility, troubleshoot equipment, and perform daily preventive maintenance. You will support safe, compliant operations and document data for process improvement.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or equivalent in a related field and 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing, plus CMMS/L2L/Google Suite proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily preventative maintenance and daily tasks.
• Collect samples of wastewater as scheduled.
• Perform required testing of samples.
• Document required data.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns promptly.
• Operate lifts and material handling equipment as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work area.
• Adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

We are looking for someone that loves to work with their hands and troubleshoot machines when they break down. The position for Waste Water Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the onsite waste water treatment facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily preventative maintenance and daily tasks.
• Collect samples of waste water as scheduled.
• Perform required testing of samples.
• Document required data.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Operate lifts and material handling equipment as needed.
• Apply knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions applicable to maintenance work.
• Able to adapt to a fast paced work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Schedule: Work 12 hour shifts, 7 of 14 days each two week pay period . Sample schedule is as follows:
• May be asked to work additional shifts as needed.
• Education: Associate degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Experience in food manufacturing or processing is a plus. Ability to read prints/schematics/drawings. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mechanical field in an industrial or manufacturing setting is preferred. Must have computer skills to communicate and process data, preferred experience with CMMS, L2L, Google Suite.
• Knowledge: This position does require candidates to read and write English with the ability to comprehend basic maintenance manuals.
• Age: Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.
• Physical Abilities:
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including above the head and below the waist.
• Must be able to climb ladders and do work on aerial work platforms as needed.
• Environmental: Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
• Flexibility: Must be able to work overtime as needed. Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
• Compliance: Must practice good personal hygiene. Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.
