Job summary

Reworld Waste seeks a Plant Superintendent to lead the Mass Burn Unit at a state-of-the-art waste-to-energy facility in Kapolei, Hawaii. You will oversee daily operations, drive reliability, and ensure safe, compliant performance while guiding a high-performing team.

The role requires 10+ years of supervisory experience in power generation or WTE, plus ASME QRO certifications within the specified timelines. Relocation and a sign-on bonus are available in addition to competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; engineering degree preferred.
• 10+ years supervisory/management experience in power generation or waste-to-energy facilities.
• ASME QRO provisional certification within six months; site-specific QRO certification within twelve months.
• Ability to obtain required certifications within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and lead operations personnel daily.
• Drive performance, reliability, and safety in mass burn operations.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to optimize plant availability.
• Ensure environmental compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Develop and implement operational improvement initiatives.
• Lead emergency response and safety training for the team.
• Communicate clearly with leadership and cross-functional teams.
