Reworld is seeking a Plant Superintendent to lead the Mass Burn Unit at a state-of-the-art waste-to-energy facility in Hawaii. The role focuses on safe, reliable, and environmentally compliant plant performance while directing a high-performing operations team.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of supervisory experience in power generation or MSW processing, with ASME QRO certifications in sight and relocation/sign-on benefits offered for qualified applicants.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of supervisory/management experience in a power generation, waste-to-energy, utility, or industrial process facility.
• Ability to obtain ASME QRO Provisional Certification within six months of employment.
• Ability to achieve Site-Specific ASME QRO Operator Certification within twelve months of employment.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and lead operations personnel daily.
• Oversee performance evaluations and staff development.
• Coordinate cross-department activities for efficient plant operations.
• Ensure environmental permits, health and safety policies, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead initiatives to improve plant performance, equipment reliability, and maintenance effectiveness.
• Communicate effectively between operations and maintenance teams regarding equipment condition and reliability.
• Maintain readiness for emergency situations and support the facility’s emergency response plan.
