Job summary

GFL is seeking a site attendant to manage convenience site operations in Garner, NC. You will greet patrons, direct waste disposal, and maintain cleanliness while supporting drivers with waste containers and spill cleanup.

The role requires weekend availability and strict adherence to safety, policies, and regulations. You will operate the on-site compactor daily, monitor container levels, and ensure efficient waste handling.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate equipment or vehicles necessary for the job.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time to assigned site and open/close the Convenience Site per schedule.
• Greet patrons and direct proper disposal into appropriate containers.
• Maintain clean site facilities and grounds by picking up litter and debris.
• Assist drivers with waste containers and cleanup.
• Monitor waste levels and ensure space for additional waste/recyclables.
• Operate the compactor daily.
• Support others by disposing of waste as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Must be available to work weekend hours.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and company policies; follow supervisor directives.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
