Job summary

The City and County of Denver is hiring a Waste Service Operator II to support the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure. This is an on-site role serving across Denver during a training period of five days per week.

After training, you will transition to a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule with regular overtime opportunities, rotating among Central Platte, Cherry Creek, or Roslyn campuses. Competitive pay and strong benefits are part of the package.

New hires are typically brought into the organization between $29.00-$34.00/hour, based on experience and education. Location & Schedule

In this position you can expect to work on-site and in the field throughout the City and County of Denver, 5 days a week during the training period.

Upon completion of training, you will transition to a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule, with regular overtime opportunities — averaging about 12 days per year — based out of one of our three campuses: Central Platte, Cherry Creek, or Roslyn.
