Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Waste Section Manager in South Carolina to provide leadership for the waste team. You will oversee staff development, manage profitability, and coordinate quality assurance across projects, while working closely with regional leaders and clients.

The role requires a strong background in solid waste facilities, project management, and staff development, with a focus on advancing sustainable waste infrastructure and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for operations of the waste production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support.
• Function as Project Manager and take responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilities.
• Lead and coordinate services with other sections and supervise section staff.
• Involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviews and engage with waste clients on production and related issues.
• Ensure work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management systems.
• Implement and monitor company policy and develop multidiscipline teams.
