Seminole County operates daily truck scales at the Central Transfer Station and landfill, handling cashier duties, customer service, and scale transactions. You will ensure proper charges, maintain records, and support daily flow of traffic while following franchise rules and safety procedures.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Florida driver's license, and experience with general computer operations. Ongoing training is provided to support operations and safety compliance.

Competenze

• Completion of high school/GED required.
• 1 year cashier/customer service experience required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License.
• Experience with general computer operation.

Mansioni

• Provide customer service as cashier and manage cash and credit transactions.
• Perform daily maintenance duties around assigned work areas.
• Direct customers to designated areas based on waste type and ensure orderly traffic flow.
• Maintain accurate records and balance daily transactions in the scale system and HHW database.
• Update vehicle assignments and provide timely information to coworkers and customers.
• Attend Seminole County required trainings.
