GFL Environmental is seeking a Scalehouse Operator in Florida to be the face of our facility. You will weigh trucks with precision, issue permits, and manage accounts while serving as the primary contact for drivers and a hub for site communications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months of related experience; customer service background is a plus.
• Strong basic math skills and ability to interpret data/graphs.
• Proactive communicator who thrives in a dynamic, outdoor-influenced environment.

Responsibilities

• Weigh trucks in and out with precision and provide top-tier service to drivers.
• Issue truck permits and set up new accounts; ensure accurate/billing data.
• Coordinate as a communication hub and dispatch instructions for special waste disposal.
• Test scales daily for accuracy and assist with environmental compliance tasks.
• Support safety and site operations to keep the facility running smoothly.
