is seeking an Industrial Waste Recycling Operator to maintain liquids recycling systems, waste reclaiming and storage processes. The role requires following general machine shop practices under minimal supervision and performing essential duties with safety and accuracy. Responsibilities include operating control panels, inspecting equipment, analyzing fluids, preparing samples and maintaining records.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent; trade school preferred.
• Ability to handle complex tasks to resolution.
• Communication skills and ability to read, write and comprehend instructions.
• Knowledge of shop math.
• Problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in production/manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of waste treatment techniques, chemicals and physical reactions.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles such as pickup truck and forklift.
• Lean Manufacturing techniques with emphasis on Standardized Work, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and JIT.
• Stand, stoop, bend and lift, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work overtime and lift up to 50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Maintain liquids recycling systems, waste reclaiming and storage systems.
• Follow safety procedures and 5S standards; lift/move parts.
• Set controls on panels and activate systems; drain and clean.
• Inspect panels and record data; report observations.
• Replace pumps, valves, filters, switches and other equipment.
• Inspect for leaks; report findings and repair if possible.
• Analyze fluids and adjust as directed; notify supervisor.
• Remove waste and transfer fluids to storage facilities.
• Analyze wastewater samples and prepare monthly report.
• Prepare and analyze samples of various fluids.
• Monitor inventory and maintain records.
• Remove trash and perform general housekeeping.
• Other duties assigned.
