Job summary

Superior Environmental Solutions Inc. in Bellefontaine, OH is seeking a Profile Specialist to ensure accurate waste profiling for hazardous and non‑hazardous materials. You will work with internal teams and TSDF vendors to classify, document, and approve profiles for transport and disposal in line with regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes timely profile creation, regulatory compliance, and cross‑functional collaboration to support environmental goals and safe waste management practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with SDS interpretation, hazardous waste classification, or environmental compliance preferred.
• Familiarity with RCRA, DOT, and TSDF protocols is strongly desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and environmental data management systems preferred.
• Ability to learn and adapt to changing regulations, technologies and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Review SDS to identify physical, chemical, and hazardous characteristics of materials.
• Create detailed waste profiles in SES and customer profiling systems.
• Coordinate sample delivery to third‑party testing facilities.
• Communicate with chemical manufacturers and customers to fill gaps in SDS sheets.
• Manage the profile creation timeline to deliver profiles within two business days.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end profile recertification with customers and third‑party facilities.
