Superior Environmental Solutions, LLC is seeking a Profile Specialist to ensure accurate, compliant creation of waste profiles for hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting SDS and identifying hazardous characteristics.
  • Familiarity with RCRA, DOT, and TSDF protocols is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with environmental data management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review SDS to identify physical, chemical, and hazardous properties of materials.
  • Create detailed waste profiles describing waste streams including composition and regulatory codes.
  • Coordinate sample delivery to third-party testing facilities.
  • Communicate with manufacturers and customers to fill gaps in SDS and ensure timely profile creation.
  • Manage profile creation timelines and deliver profiles for customer signatures within two business days.
  • Coordinate end-to-end profile recertification with customers and testing facilities.

Job description

The Profile Specialist is responsible for the accurate and compliant creation of waste profiles for hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Working closely with internal teams and TSDF vendors, this role ensures waste streams are properly classified, documented, and approved for transport and disposal in accordance with regulatory requirements and customer environmental goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE
  • SReview and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to identify physical, chemical, and hazardous characteristics of material
  • sCreate detailed waste profiles in SES and customer profiling systems that accurately describe waste streams, including composition, hazard class, physical state, and regulatory code
  • sCoordinate sample delivery to 3rd party testing facilitie
  • sCommunicate directly with chemical manufacturers and customers to fill gaps in SDS sheets and ensure efficient, expeditious profile creation timeline
  • sManage daily customer inquiries to profile new and existing waste streams. Determine if the waste stream can be captured under an existing profile or create accurate, complete profiles for new waste streams
  • .Manage the profile creation timeline, creating and delivering complete, accurate profiles to Strategic Account Managers for customer signatures within two business day
  • sManage solvent reuse waste streams: coordinate sample collection and analysis, partner with 3rd party compliance companies to produce SDSs, and create waste profiles
  • .Coordinate the end-to-end profile recertification process through proactive partnership with customers, 3rdparty testing facilities, and Environmental Services team members
  • :Proactively identify profiles nearing their expiry dat
  • ePlan and execute annual sample testing, ensuring compliance with EPA requirement
  • sCapture and deliver samples to testing facilities as require
  • dServe as the primary point of contact for 3rd party compliance companies to enable all aspects of audit processes. Research and deliver data to compliance companies, disseminate audit results across the Environmental Services team, and update profile records accordingly
  • .Support customer-facing meetings, providing education and information on waste profiling processes, operations, and profile-specific data
  • .Proactively communicate and partner with the Strategic Sourcing Manager – Profiled Waste to create profiles for complex waste streams, prioritizing efforts on opportunities that need the greatest level of cross-functional research
  • .Communicate directly with customers regarding profile or vendor changes per the request of Strategic Account Manager
  • sMaintain SES’s historical profile documentation with a high level of accuracy and organizatio
  • nMaintain and continuously grow expertise in industry-leading waste profiling methods, technologies, and processe
