Job summary

Univar Solutions in Dublin, OH, is seeking an Environmental Compliance Analyst to ensure safe, compliant management of customer waste within the chemical waste disposal line. You will review SDS, interpret analytical data, and classify waste streams.

The role requires a bachelor’s in a relevant field and 2+ years of hazardous waste experience, with hybrid work out of Dublin. You will support sales, customers, and vendors while maintaining data integrity and supporting regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of hazardous waste management experience.
• Strong understanding of RCRA and DOT regulations.
• Experience interpreting SDS and waste profiling data.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to manage data in profiling portals and vendor systems.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in waste profiling while ensuring EPA, RCRA, DOT compliance.
• Assign accurate waste codes and classifications with guidance.
• Review SDS and analytical data to support regulatory compliance.
• Support vendor relationships and timely approvals.
• Provide regulatory guidance to sales, customers, and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate waste stream data in profiling portals and vendor systems.
• Analyze supplier plans to select TSDFs and monitor disposal costs.
• Contribute to continuous compliance improvements and training.
