Alpha Industrial Waste Servies is in search of an experienced and detail-oriented Waste Processing Technician II to join us at our Cambridge, OH location.

We are seeking a skilled Waste Processing Technician to handle, process, and manage materials at our non-hazardous waste treatment facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working in industrial environments, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safety and compliance standards. Experience operating waste processing equipment including forklifts, forklift attachments, excavators, and hose and valve operations is required.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The Waste Processing Technician II will report to the Facility Supervisor and work closely with other members of the facility and receiving teams.

Requirements

• Forklift Experience and valid training certification
• Excavator Experience and valid training certification
• Experience in industrial waste processing, hazardous/non-hazardous waste handling, or a related field (preferred).
• Ability to operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and hand tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Basic understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards.
• Physical ability to lift/move heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in waste management, OSHA safety, or forklift operation a plus.

Essential Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Physical Stamina: Endurance to work in environments that may require physical exertion and repetitive motions.
• Performs duties in all weather conditions and works with exposure to extreme conditions and potentially hazardous conditions.
• Must wear respirator.
