Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is hiring a Plant Operator for its medical waste treatment facility in Easton, PA. The role involves checking in containers, documenting weights, moving containers, and using a forklift to load an autoclave.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week on 2nd shift (3PM-11PM). Compensation is a set $21.00 per hour, with benefits from day one and potential overtime in a stable essential-service environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job.
• Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening.
• Willingness to take a 7 year background check.
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately.
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE.
• Proven longevity with employers.

Job description

We are looking to hire a Plant Operator for our Daniels' medical waste treatment facility in Easton, PA. A Plant Operator has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave. The ideal Plant Operator is an individual who likes variety in their work and can think through practical problems.
