Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Experience operating motorized equipment and packer trucks.

Responsibilities

• Drives and operates the packer truck on prescribed routes.
• Oversees the work of assigned crew during collection routes.
• Balances collection speed and load with crew on route.
• Instructs new employees on proper collection methods for efficiency and safety.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck.
• Provides input for performance reviews of subordinates.
