Job summary

Leavenworth USD453 is seeking a Solid Waste Facility Attendant to manage cleanliness and safety at the Leavenworth County Transfer Station. Responsibilities include directing customer traffic and maintaining facility cleanliness.

The ideal candidate will possess solid knowledge of solid waste principles and excellent communication skills. This position requires the ability to operate hand tools and maintain safety protocols. The working hours are Tuesday to Friday from 7:45 am to 4:15 pm and Saturday 7 am to 3 pm.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of solid waste principles and procedures.
• Skilled in the use and safety practices of yard maintenance tools.
• Ability to assist in the acceptance of hazardous household waste.
