The Manager provides people leadership, sets priorities, and ensures consistent coding and billing practices.

Qualifications

• Active AAPC certified coder with relevant licenses and auditing experience.
• 5+ years in medical coding, claims review, or payment integrity.
• 2+ years in people leadership and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, CMS 1500, UB-04.
• Experience with coding compliance and reimbursement requirements.
• Proficiency with Excel/Word and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Certified Coding Analysts and Team Leads.
• Ensure accurate CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding and billing compliance.
• Oversee audits, quality reviews, and performance metrics.
• Manage staffing, workload, and escalation paths.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Medical Directors, and leadership.
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and training.
