Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks a Waste & Error Certified Coding Manager to lead the Certified Coding Analysts and W&E Team Lead in medical claim reviews, audits, and compliance. You will set priorities, manage staffing, ensure quality, and partner with senior leaders to drive payment integrity and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Active professional coding certification(s) with suitable licensure.
• 5+ years of medical coding, audits, or payment integrity experience.
• 2+ years of people leadership and performance management.
• Strong CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 knowledge and reimbursement rules.
• Experience with state/federal policies and coding compliance.
• Proficient with Excel and Word; able to interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Certified Coding Analysts and Team Leads.
• Set performance goals, productivity standards, and quality metrics.
• Oversee staffing, training, and performance coaching for the team.
• Manage coding audits, reviews, and compliance processes.
• Monitor workload, priorities, and service level agreements.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Medical Directors, and leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement and alignment with policy requirements.
