Job summary

Savannah River National Laboratory, located at the Savannah River Site in Aiken SC, seeks a Waste Certification Analyst to manage excess chemicals, waste residues, legacy materials and equipment disposition including LLW and TRU waste. You will interface with Solid Waste Management Facilities for shipment planning, prepare manifests, and direct packaging and transfer activities.

Minimum qualifications include a HS Diploma/GED with 3 years as a Qualified GCO, AS with 2 years, or BS with 1 year of

• Must have cleanup and regulatory compliance experience in waste management.
• Experience evaluating regulatory changes and implementing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage waste streams, prepare waste manifests and logistics planning.
• Coordinate with facilities personnel for waste packaging, transfer activities, and field inspections.
• Provide input to waste forecasts and assist in developing sampling plans and waste determinations.
