Job summary

National Tank Services, part of the Trimac Family of Companies, is seeking a dependable laborer to support exterior washing, interior flushing, and routine tank cleaning tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll work Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with safety as a core value. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to work in variable weather conditions.
• Able to read and comprehend standard procedures.
• Knowledge of proper handling of hazardous waste materials.
• Physical effort may include lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Exterior washing of tanks and associated equipment.
• Assist with interior flushing and valve cleaning.
• Operate cleaning systems and controls as directed.
• Observe tank entries and ensure safety procedures.
• Clean hoses, pumps and related tools.
• Perform general labor tasks as assigned.
• Handle piping and hoses carrying liquids under pressure.
• Adhere to Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security policies.

Pay Details

• $19.00 per hour

Schedule

• Tues­day - Saturday
• 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Exterior washing
• Assist with interior flushing
• Valve cleaning and assembly
• Observing tank entries
• Clean hoses and pumps
• Operation of cleaning systems and controls (valves, piping, start/stop switches, timers)
• Perform general laborer duties
• Use cleaning equipment, i.e., spinners, hoses, pumps, drum cleaning products, and product residue (up to 50 lbs.)
• Piping and hoses carrying liquids under pressure (hot, cold, hazardous, also steam)
• Possesses and demonstrates the ability to perform assigned tasks in a manner that adheres to the company Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security policies

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work in variable weather conditions
• Must be able to work on uneven and/or slippery surfaces
• Ability to read and comprehend standard procedures and practices
• Knowledge of proper procedures for handling and disposal of hazardous waste materials
• High‑pressure wash system may create noisy conditions in certain work areas
• Physical activity will be required when handling cleaning equipment, i.e. spinners, hoses, pumps, drum cleaning products, and product residue (up to 50 lbs.)
• Hazardous chemicals are used in both manual and mechanical cleaning processes. Respiratory protective equipment may be required for handling certain products (HAZMAT training provided)
