Job summary

TAS Environmental Services is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Washout Facility to oversee the El Dorado washout facility. This hands-on supervisory role leads daily operations, washouts, waste handling, and safety while actively performing washout tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate will manage staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and practical knowledge of industrial cleaning are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in environmental/industrial services or related field.
• Experience with tanker washout and hazardous waste handling.
• Willingness to perform hands-on washout and cleaning.
• Knowledge of SDSs, labeling, segregation, manifests, and waste-handling practices.
• Ability to operate pumps, hoses, and pressure-washing equipment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily facility operations, staffing, workflow, and priorities.
• Perform and supervise washout and cleaning of tankers, vacuum equipment, and other industrial equipment.
• Review waste profiles, SDSs, and documentation to determine handling requirements.
• Coordinate equipment staging, inspection, and turnaround.
• Supervise and train employees on washout procedures and safety.
