Job summary

TAS Environmental Services, LP is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead and mentor the field operations team at our Springfield, TN location. The role is hourly and focuses on directing environmental cleanup and emergency response activities.

Ideal candidates will bring 5+ years in Emergency Spill Response, Hazmat credentials, and strong safety and communication skills to manage diverse projects and coordinate with customers and authorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years performing all aspects of Emergency Spill Response.
• Knowledge of petroleum products and hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals.
• CDL Class B Hazmat endorsement.
• HAZWOPER and Confined Space certifications.

Responsibilities

• Function as part of an Emergency response team by providing services such as tank cleanings, transfers, bio-hazard cleanup, demolition, remediation, and other similar capabilities.
• Display safety knowledge and generate and track written proposals for a variety of projects.
• Dealing directly with customers and various state/local officials as required for projects and proposals.
• Supervise and manage staff, including technicians, operators, drivers, and foremen.
• Handle various products, hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Perform industrial work and biohazard cleanups.
• Stage, profile, and process the disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Assist in the removal of soil, debris and other materials, and cleaning up spill sites.
• Other duties as assigned
