Job summary

TAS Environmental Services is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor – Washout Facility to oversee the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the El Dorado washout facility in Arkansas. This role is hands-on, supervising daily activities, tanker washouts, waste handling, wastewater management, and safety, while also performing washout and cleaning tasks when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years in environmental/industrial services or related field.
• Experience with tanker or industrial washout operations.
• Experience handling hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Knowledge of SDS, labeling, segregation, and waste manifests.
• Ability to perform physical washout and cleaning with teams.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with pumps and cleaning equipment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily facility operations and staff.
• Lead washout and cleaning of tankers and equipment.
• Ensure proper waste handling and wastewater management.
• Train and supervise employees; ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain equipment, records, and customer service standards.
• Serve as operational liaison with customers and TAS teams.
