Job summary

Fuse seeks a senior government affairs leader to drive policy and funding priority translation into enacted language and funded programs in Washington, DC. You will represent Fuse before Congress, agencies, and senior officials, shaping legislation and budgets across defense, energy, and related programs.

The role requires a proven track record navigating Hill and DoD/DoE processes, plus the ability to lead a team, travel on short notice, and uphold the Fuse brand with ethics and judgment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a congressional staffer on defense or energy related committees.
• Proven ability to translate policy into enacted language and funded programs.
• Experience leading government affairs teams and managing external lobbyists.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute Fuse's government affairs strategy aligned to goals and revenue targets.
• Plan and run campaigns across defense and energy authorizations and appropriations.
• Represent Fuse before Members of Congress and senior government officials.
• Engage with the Pentagon and federal agencies to align programs with budgets.
• Lead the government affairs team and coordinate cross-functional execution.
