Job summary

Fuse is seeking a senior contracts leader to own the federal contracting portfolio from strategy through execution in Washington, DC, with potential relocation for the right candidate. You will shape pursuit, negotiation, and structuring of US government work while ensuring compliance and scalable processes.

The role requires deep experience with federal contracting, strong cross‑functional collaboration with legal, product, sales, and engineering, and the ability to drive end-to-end

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience working on US government contracts matters.
• Solid understanding of the government procurement process, particularly contract vehicles and types.
• Judgment and initiative to lead multiple projects end-to-end.
• Quick learner and independent performer who also contributes effectively to a broader team.
• High attention to detail and a process-oriented approach, with willingness to push for new solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability leading teams through planning and execution of complex contracts for major systems and services.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management and government-contracting business systems.
• Enjoys collaborating across the organization to implement innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Guide the planning, proposal support, negotiation, and execution/maintenance of US federal government contract vehicles.
• Be responsible for the end-to-end contracting process across the federal portfolio.
• Develop and grow a library of strategic agreements and contracts for clear engagement with US federal customers.
• Collaborate with legal, product, sales, and engineering to drive strategic pricing and terms.
• Support BD and other teams in identifying and developing new contract opportunities.
• Support partnerships with outside businesses for contract teaming arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and supply chain requirements (CMMC, 889, SCRM, FOCI/CFIUS) for federal contracts.
• Manage GSA Schedule administration, including modifications and scope reviews.
