Job summary

West Central Linen is seeking a Washer to support daily linen operations. Responsibilities include coordinating with the driver and supervisor to schedule accounts, sorting accounts as they come in, and loading the washer.

You will learn programming for each type of linen, transfer washed items to the industrial dryer, and move finished loads to designated areas. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking most of the day, and is 80 hours biweekly, 5am–1:30pm,

• Willingness to learn linen programming for different types.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with driver and supervisor to schedule accounts.
• Sort accounts as they come in.
• Load and unload the washer.
• Learn programming for each type of linen.
• Transfer washed items to industrial dryer.
• After drying, transfer loads to designated areas.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance on washers and dryer.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of rooms and carts.
