Job summary

Century-Linen in Massachusetts is seeking an Onsite Linen Worker to support daily operations in the Linen Department at a hospital location.

You will manage cart preparation, linen orders, distribution and inventory logs, load and unload carts, stock shelves, and communicate with hospital staff while rotating day/night shifts.

This role requires physical stamina, teamwork, and the ability to work in an indoor, climate-controlled environment with long hours when needed.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Able to work with hospital staff to provide linen supplies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to read and write in English.
• Reading and writing comprehension, computer and math skills at a high school level.
• Quality orientation and high attention to detail.

Constant pushing/pulling of laundry carts with weights of 250 lbs. is common with some cart weights exceeding 600 lbs.Work Environment:This job takes place within the Linen Room and throughout the hospital. The working environment is indoors and is seasonally heated and cooled with minimal noise levels.
