Responsibilities

• Setup, operation, and loading of machinery.
• Reading, releasing and confirming work orders.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance before start up.
• Follow work instructions and safety guidelines.
• Use SAP to match work orders to items.
• Detect and prevent quality problems.
• Machine changeovers and order parts.
• Handle materials and KanBan replenishment.
• Weekly cleaning and other duties as assigned.

SFS Group USA Inc is seeking experienced and dependable Washer Assembly Machine Operators to join our Washer Assembly team on our 2nd shift in Wyomissing, PA.

Objectives:

• Performs the daily duties on the principle of the SFS corporate model and values
• Actively supports and represents the SFS brand

Principal Duties:

• Setup, operation, and loading of machinery
• Reading, releasing and confirming work orders
• Perform daily preventative maintenance checklist before start up
• Follows applicable work instructions and safety guidelines
• Utilizing SAP system to match work order to items being manufactured
• Actively prevents and detects potential quality problems
• Machine changeover
• Order parts
• Loading and emptying of components
• Performs material handling tasks including reading and understanding KanBan replenishment system
• Weekly cleaning as required
• Other duties as assigned

Ideal Candidates:

• High School Diploma required
• 2-5 years in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Ability to become forklift certified
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
