SFS Group USA Inc in Reading, PA is seeking an Ecoat Line Operator for the Exeter Twp/Reading area. This full-time night shift role involves powering up, operating, and shutting down a packaging machine, verifying work orders in SAP, and performing calibration and material handling tasks.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2–5 years of manufacturing experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Forklift certification preferred or to be obtained.
• Standing for extended periods; OSHA knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Power up, operate, and shut down packaging machine.
• Identify materials and confirm work orders.
• Calibrate piece count and finishing scales as per work order.
• Verify work orders in SAP system.
• Operate wrapper and forklift to move goods.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and assist training.

Machine Operator- Ecoat

Responsibilities

• Power up, operate, and shut down packaging machine.
• Identify materials to process work orders.
• Calibrate piece count scale of raw material
• Calibrate and operate finishing scale to exact quantity defined by work order.
• Understanding and confirmation of work order using SAP system.
• Operate Automatic Wrapper.
• Operate Forklift to move goods.
• Troubleshoot machine issues as required.
• Assist in training other employees.
• Perform weekly cleaning per schedule as required
• Other duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2-5 years in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Ability to become forklift certified
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations a plus
