Walbec Group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our quarry operations in the Midwest. You will help produce aggregate and construction materials, operating loaders, crushers, screens, and wash-plants, while supporting stockpile loading and load-out of finished product.

• Operate equipment in a safe and productive manner.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of mobile equipment.
• Communicate plant site issues with Foreman and Mine Management during daily inspections.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work site including shoveling and skid steer operation.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs including labor work, cutting, fabricating and welding.

The Position

We're looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator working as part of quarry operations to produce aggregate and construction materials. Quarry operations include maintaining and operating the processing plant, (crushers, screens, wash-plants) operating loaders to feed the processing plant and assisting in the stockpile and load-out of finished product. Crush/wash Operators are responsible for operating several types of construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This equipment may include, but is not limited to, loaders, skid steers, water trucks, man lifts, dozers and excavators
