Job summary

Schupan & Sons is hiring a Washbooth Operator in Wyoming, MI for 1st shift. The role involves moving wet bins, disassembling sleeves, conducting final quality checks, stacking components, and upholding safety policies.

Ideal candidates will follow written and verbal instructions, count accurately, and be able to train others as needed. The position offers $18/hour, full-time hours on 1st shift, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Ability to count accurately.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instructions and safety standards.
• Ability to train others while performing the essential duties of this job.

Responsibilities

• Move wet bins from the wash booth onto the dry booth carousel, working in unison with another team member to keep the line running at maximum efficiency and throughput.
• Disassemble the bin sleeve from its bottom and place it into the automated dry booth carousel.
• Perform the last quality check before the bin is shipped out to retail stores by identifying and removing any damaged sleeves from the carousel.
• Manually stack sleeves and bottoms.
• Understand, recognize, and comply with all safety procedures and policies, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Report identified safety and mechanical problems to supervisor/maintenance personnel promptly.
• Keep the work area clean and free from clutter at all times to maintain a safe work area.
• Interact in person with peers and management for the duration of the shift.
• Handle high stress situations as needed.
• Rotate and assist other team members in various roles as needed.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
