Schupan is seeking a Washbooth Operator for the 1st shift in Wyoming, MI. The role involves moving wet bins between wash and dry booths, performing quality checks, and stacking sleeves and bottoms.

• No experience required.
• Ability to count accurately.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instructions and safety standards.
• Ability to train others while performing the essential duties of this job.
• Physical requirement: lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work environment is loud, wet, and physically demanding.

Responsibilities

• Move wet bins from the wash booth to the dry booth carousel to keep the line running at maximum efficiency and throughput.
• Disassemble the bin sleeve from its bottom and place it into the automated dry booth carousel.
• Perform the last quality check before the bin is shipped out to retail stores by identifying and removing any damaged sleeves from the carousel.
• Manually stack sleeves and bottoms.
• Understand, recognize, and comply with all safety procedures and policies, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Report identified safety and mechanical problems to supervisor/maintenance personnel promptly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times and interact with peers and management during the shift.
• Rotate and assist other team members in various roles as needed.
