Job summary

Frank's Supply Company is seeking a Wash Bay Employee for our Hobbs, NM location. This role focuses on cleaning, detailing, and preparing rental equipment for customer use and ensuring it is kept in presentable condition and ready for the next rental.

You will assist with basic inspections, organize equipment, and maintain a safe, clean work environment while complying with safety guidelines and PPE requirements. Training is provided if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in equipment washing is a plus, training provided.
• Ability to operate pressure washers, hoses, and basic hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and detail construction rental equipment upon return.
• Remove dirt, debris, grease, and residues using pressure washers and tools.
• Inspect equipment for damage and report findings to the service department.
• Assist with fueling and staging equipment for upcoming rentals.
• Maintain wash bay cleanliness and organize supplies and tools.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE while cleaning.
• Perform other duties to support the service and rental team.

Frank's Supply Company is a major supplier of construction tools and equipment with our focus on both sales and rental. We are currently seeking a qualified WASH BAY EMPLOYEE for our Hobbs, NM Location.

OBJECTIVE

The Wash Bay Employee is responsible for cleaning, detailing, and preparing construction rental equipment for customer use. This role ensures that all equipment is returned to presentable condition, maintained to company standards, and ready for the next rental. The Wash Bay Employee also assists with basic inspections, organization of equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wash, clean, and detail construction rental equipment (e.g., excavators, skid steers, lifts, loaders, and small tools) upon return.
• Remove dirt, debris, grease, and other residues using pressure washers, cleaning solutions, and hand tools.
• Inspect equipment for visible damage, missing parts, or maintenance concerns and report findings to the service department.
• Assist with fueling and staging equipment for upcoming rentals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay area, including cleaning supplies and tools.
• Follow all safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment while operating pressure washers and cleaning chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the service and rental team.
