Job summary

CSU Stanislaus invites applications for a temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant in Basic Needs. The role supports students facing food and housing insecurity and provides responsive service on campus.

Job description

    • Position Summary
    • Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position(s) available in Basic Needs.
    • Start Date
    • Positionavailable on or after September 14,2026 and ending on or before May 22, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
    • Qualifications
      • Preferred Qualifications
      • Demonstrates ability to maintain confidentiality, promptness and attendance.
      • Demonstrates dependability and able to follow-through on assignments.
      • Familiar with Canva, Adobe, Word, and PowerPoint
      • Experience working with or awareness of college students who have experienced food/housing insecurity and/ or financial hardships or emergencies.
      • Ability to work evenings.
      • Excellent customer service and passion to help and support students.
      • Ability to work well in a team or individually.
      • Good judgement when handling sensitive and/or confidential materials.
      • Ability to accurately complete work in a timely manner with minimal/no supervision
      • Ability to work with a diverse population.
      • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
      • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
      • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, maintained during employment; must be making progress towards degree.
      • Required Qualifications
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
    • Salary Range
    • $16.90per hour.
