Job summary

HL Mando America Corporation is seeking a Warranty Quality Engineer to manage the end-to-end warranty claim process for the Americas region, including the United States, Mexico, and Brazil.

You will review, classify and negotiate warranty claims with OEM customers, coordinate with suppliers, and drive cost reduction through data analysis and cross-functional improvement activities. This role requires strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).
• 0–3 years of experience in quality, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct technical data analysis and translate findings into clear management reports.
• Basic understanding of automotive warranty processes or OEM customer quality systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end warranty claim process for the Americas.
• Review and classify warranty claims submitted by OEM customers; conduct technical review.
• Negotiate warranty cost-sharing ratios with OEM customers and distribute approved claims to suppliers.
• Analyze warranty data to identify worst performers and drive corrective actions.
• Calculate warranty reserves and provide periodic updates to finance.
