HL Mando is seeking a Warranty Quality Engineer in Michigan to monitor North American warranty issues and coordinate with NAQC, HMA, and KUS to drive containment and root-cause resolution for quality concerns.
You will investigate warranty parts, perform DTC analysis with CANape, and generate weekly KPI reports while communicating risk and status in real time to stakeholders. Travel as required to support outbreak investigations and customer sites.
The Warranty Quality Engineer is responsible for monitoring and managing North American warranty issues related to Mando products to ensure timely investigation, containment, and resolution of quality concerns. This role serves as the primary liaison between North American Quality Control (NAQC), Hyundai Motor America (HMA), Kia USA (KUS), and Mando, facilitating effective communication and real-time reporting of warranty-related issues. The position supports cross-functional problem-solving activities by investigating root causes, verifying the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions, and tracking key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous product quality improvement and customer satisfaction.
