Job summary

Construction Unlimited is seeking a hands-on roofing technician to diagnose and repair leaks, perform siding/gutter work as needed, and handle warranty service for residential and commercial projects.

You will document each service call in ServiceTitan, communicate clearly with homeowners and builders, and help maintain a skilled, safety-conscious on-site team in Central Florida.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with shingle roofing systems is required.
• Able to diagnose a leak and explain the fix to a homeowner in plain language.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Able to climb ladders and work at heights with fall protection.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair roofing, siding, soffit, fascia, or gutters to resolve leaks and warranty claims.
• Complete small repair work, priced and approved before starting.
• Explain findings and next steps to homeowners/builders.
• Document service calls with photos and notes in ServiceTitan.
• Flag warranty scope beyond, before work starts.
• Keep warranty calls closed out or scheduled for completion date.
• Maintain stocked company vehicle for on-site calls.
• Report recurring issues to production for quality training.

THE ROLE

You'll be CU's go-to technician for roofing repairs and warranty service, with some siding and gutter work as needed. When a homeowner or builder reports a problem on one of our jobs, you'll go out, find the cause, fix it right the first time, and explain what you did. You'll also handle punch list items on new construction and small paid repairs for our customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Diagnose and repair issues with roofing, siding, soffit, fascia, and/or gutters resulting in active leaks or warranty claims with our residential and commercial customers.
• Complete small repair work for customers, priced and approved before the work starts
• Talk homeowners and builders through what you found, what you fixed, and what happens next
• Document every service call in ServiceTitan, including clear before-and-after photos, notes and repair status
• Flag anything beyond the warranty scope before the work happens, not after
• Keep every warranty call you own either closed out or on a committed completion date
• Keep your company vehicle stocked, organized and ready for the next call
• Report recurring installation issues to the production team for quality control training

SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday, with some weekends as needed. Full-time, on site at customer and builder job sites.

COMPENSATION

$23.00 to $27.00 an hour, based on experience. Hourly, non-exempt

Requirements

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Proven hands-on experience with shingle roofing systems is required, while experience with tile, metal, TPO, siding, soffit/fascia or gutters is preferred.
• You can diagnose a leak and explain the fix to a homeowner in plain language
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Able to climb ladders, work at heights with fall protection, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in all Florida weather conditions
• Comfortable logging work and photos in ServiceTitan, or a similar app, on a phone or tablet
• You take ownership. When you say it's fixed, it's fixed
• Bonus points if you have experience leading a crew or scheduling work
