Job summary

Holt of California in Pleasant Grove, CA is seeking a Warranty Clerk to support processing of warranty claims, settlements, and data entry. You will collaborate with service teams, sales, and other departments to deliver accurate warranty analysis and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have experience in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Analytical skills for reviewing data and determining root causes or trends.

Responsibilities

• Submit warranty claims to product manufacturers
• Process warranty settlements
• Process claim evaluation and resubmittals
• Enter machine failure data
• Process warranty part returns
• Create warranty analysis on hardship machines
• Analysis of warranty recovery %, claim submission days, grief %
• Partner with service teams training classes for mechanics on correct failure data and service report writing
• Provide warranty information to sales and service departments
• Create and distribute reports for all departments/divisions that provide analysis requested by them

Essential Functions

• Submit warranty claims to product manufacturers
• Process warranty settlements

Education And/Or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation

Wage Range $25 to $30 Hourly

Wage depends on knowledge, skills and ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
