Kitsap County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Warrants Sheriff Support Specialist to ensure accurate warrant data entry and timely processing within ACCESS and EIS. The role supports officers, dispatchers, and court personnel by upholding compliance and data integrity across county systems.

The position emphasizes attention to detail, knowledge of warrant processes, and flexibility to work overtime when required to meet deadlines.

Qualificações

• Three years specialized office, customer service, and clerical support work involving daily operation of a computer and heavy public contact.
• Within one year of appointment, the successful candidate must possess Washington State ACCESS Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Enter and remove warrants in ACCESS and EIS with full compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Coordinate warrant confirmation and verification with Kitsap911 dispatchers.
• Process fugitives from justice and deletion of attempts to locate; ensure data integrity.
• Maintain specialized knowledge of EIS functionality and court adjudication processes.
• Ensure accuracy of warrant validations, meeting timelines and standards.
• Support operational continuity with overtime as needed to meet statutory deadlines.
• Drive collaboration across Support Services and jail units as needed.
• Represent the division by appearing in court to testify when necessary.
