Engineered Floors LLC in Dalton, GA is seeking a Warper Creeler to safely maintain yarn creels so warpers produce first quality beams for tufting machines. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures on a busy textile floor.

You will perform duties such as hanging yarn, end splicing, stacking cones and packages, and assisting warpers during breaks. The job involves heavy lifting and standing for long periods, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Willingness to learn data entry; training provided.

Responsabilités

• Hang yarn on creel and visually check case labels and tube labels.
• Splice ends of yarn using an air splicer.
• Remove empty tubes from the creel and neatly box them.
• Remove packages of yarn from the creel.
• Neatly stack skinner cones in boxes for sale.
• Neatly stack yarn packages in a case to be shrink wrapped.
• Thread ends of yarn back through creel guides to the warper overhead.
• Keep work area clean; sweep or blow down as needed.
• Run the warper during the Warper Operator’s break periods.
