The successful candidate will prepare yarn for weaving, set up creels, and ensure a continuous, defect-free yarn supply with careful loading and maintenance of the creel. The job requires precision and physical stamina to keep weaving operations running smoothly. The role involves loading yarn onto creel spindles, verifying correct yarn type, color, and lot numbers, threading yarn through tension

Qualifications

• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in packing and labeling.
• Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions including job tickets and safety guidelines.
• Teamwork and communication with supervisors and colleagues.
• Clean, dust, lint and yarn waste from the area; general housekeeping of all area.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load large packages, spools, or cones of yarn onto the spindles of the creel according to specific layout or pattern for each job order.
• Ensure that the correct yarn type, color, and lot number are used for each position.
• Assist in threading the yarn from the creel through tension guides and combs to warp the beam.
• Respond quickly to machine stops, identify the cause of the problem, and fix it to get the machine running again.
• Adhere to workplace safety standards, especially when handling heavy materials.

Job Title: Warper Creeler

Reports To: Weave Room Supervisor / Department Lead

2ND SHIFT

Job Summary:As a Warper / Creeler, you will prepare yarn for weaving. Setting up and organizing the yarn for weaving. The position requires and high degree of precision and physical stamina to ensure a continuous and defect-free supply of yarn to minimize production downtime. Accurate loading, maintenance, and monitoring of yarn on a creel, which feeds a warping machine.

Key Responsibilities:

• · Ensure that the correct yarn type, color, and lot number are used for each position.
