Job summary

Engineered Floors, LLC in Dalton, GA is hiring a Warper Creeler to safely maintain creels and ensure first quality beams of yarn for tufting machines. You will hang yarn, splice ends, remove and box yarn, and assist in inventory while keeping a clean workspace and following safety procedures.

The role requires reading, writing, basic math, and computer data entry, with occasional overtime. Training provided, on-site position with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and do basic math (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
• Computer knowledge or data entry skills are a necessary part of the job but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Hang yarn on creel and visually check case labels and tube labels.
• Splice ends of yarn using an air splicer.
• Remove empty tubes and stack them neatly.
• Remove packages of yarn and box for inventory.
• Neatly stack skein cones and yarn packs in cases.
• Thread ends of yarn back through creel guides to the warper overhead.
• Keep the work area clean by sweeping or blowing down.
• Run the warper during the Warper Operator’s break periods.
