Job summary

Mosquito Joe of Arkansas is seeking a friendly host/hostess to welcome guests and manage seating efficiently at our Bentonville location.

You will greet guests, record party sizes, provide wait times, balance flow, and coordinate with servers while keeping the front of house clean and organized.

No restaurant experience required; day shifts required; strong grooming and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• No restaurant experience required.
• Able to work day shifts.
• Clear and effective communication in the guests' language.
• Exceptional grooming and personal presentation.

Responsibilities

• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
• Open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant.
• Record guest names and party size when immediate seating is limited.
• Call out name and party size when tables become available.
• Provide guests with estimated waiting time.
• Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.
• Seat guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations.
• Bus tables and help keep floors clean.
• Keep hostess stand and closet clean and stocked.
• Clean all windows in the foyer.
• Stock bathrooms and perform hourly bathroom checks.
• Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their server’s name; inspect table for presentation.
• Relay messages to servers as needed.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Answer the phone with a smile and the correct greeting.
